Woks Detailing installs self-healing paint protection film in Rockford, from partial front coverage to full front and full body, plus windshield protection film and carbon-look accent film. PPF is quoted per vehicle and pairs with ceramic coating on top.
The work
Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing urethane layer that takes the hits so your paint doesn't. Rock chips, road rash and light scratches land on the film, and fine swirls in it heal with heat.
We install it on the high-impact areas or wrap the whole car, and pair it with ceramic on top for easy washing. We also do windshield protection film, and colored and carbon-look film for accents.

2 years ago I was pleased of taking my jeep for a ceramic coating. I came to Wok for one of the biggest projects i've ever done. I brought my other jeep for a Full Body Colored PPF, with smoked headlight PPF and a ceramic coating on top. Such a huge transformation and they knocked it out of the park. No corners were cut when installing the PPF. The Prep work they did was phenomenal and that just shows right there that they go all the way. Going with PPF was costly but definitely way worth the investment if you love to protect your vehicle. This is the best shop hands down if you are a car enthusiast or even someone that just wants their car to be done RIGHT.

Steve is the man; he always fits you in his busy schedule, does A+ work and never misses a step. He’s done plenty of projects for me including full wraps, ppf, tint, ceramic, aftermarket replacement parts and 100s of washes. All of my vehicles stay clean due to Woks.
Questions
- Will I be able to see the film?
- On a clean install you'd have to look for it. The edges are where you'd notice, which is why we wrap edges where the panel allows.
- Can PPF come off later?
- Yes. It's designed to be removed without harming factory paint.
- What areas should I cover?
- At minimum the front bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, since that's where rocks hit. If you keep the car long or drive a lot of highway, full front or full body is worth it.
- PPF or ceramic?
- PPF is physical protection from chips. Ceramic is gloss and easy washing. The best setup is both: film on the impact areas, coating on top of everything.
